About Alpha Testnet

Tronpower's alpha site is TRON's first decentralized application (dApp) with a dedicated testnet playground for all users including new TRON users. Users can safely learn about interacting on the TRON blockchain with a dApp while learning about TRON's unique energy and bandwidth model. Currently the alpha site is on the shasta testnet network.

A testnet is an alternative blockchain used for testing and experimentation. It is a duplicate of the main network (mainnet) but operates with its own separate tokens, which do not have real-world value. This allows users & developers to try new features and applications without the risk of losing money / assets of value.
